So talented, so hardworking, and so passionate about design. I've been fortunate enough to work directly with Colleen at Walmart on redefining the grocery experience. We both joined the company around the same time and it's been an amazing ride ever since.
Colleen has a lot of experience under her belt. She's worked at big companies and is constantly taking on challenging projects at her current one. It seems that with every new project, she always improves her craft and strategic processes while guiding younger designers on her team to do the same. I recall many times where Colleen comes up with 10-15 different explorations during the design phases of our projects as a way to get all her ideas out. With each one, she moves closer to solving the right problem for the right person. It's inspiring to work with.
Colleen works hard. No doubt about it. This is something I witness every day and it's rubbed off on me ever since we started working together. Every day, I always see her in focus mode for a couple of hours where it's just her and her work. She's usually thinking through some tough problems and really trying to understand the people we're designing for. She also humbly asks for help if needed!
Colleen's passion for design shows in both the workplace and through her side projects. At Walmart, she's very eager to come to work and interact with folks on our team and with the Walmart associates we design for. Outside of work, she likes to handle her side business selling jewelry. This is amazing. She creates laser-cut jewelry and sells them on various social media channels. It's so great to see her working on her other design passions. This makes her have a very diverse skill set where she's constantly learning and working on new things. Not many people do this which makes her such a unique person to interact with.
A truly amazing and special person to work with. Colleen would be a huge culture add to any team and is super creative in her design work.

Colleen is very talented and experienced designer. Her illustrations and visual designs are wonderful. She takes full ownership of her work and have seen her working hard until she is satisfied. 1. Colleen gets the work done. Her designs are beautiful and functional and she takes feedback well. I know that Colleen will create what I need and that it will always exceed my expectations.
2. She is never afraid to tackle the implementation of her designs. A lot of designers can make the visuals but Colleen can take her designs and build out the stylesheets and webpage code so that you can just use her styles to focus on bonding days and not margins or padding.
3. Colleen is a spectacular person who is easy to work with and amazing at communications. She listens well and uses criticisms to improve her work. She always puts her best work forward and does her best to work within the requirements

I had an opportunity to work with Colleen for some critical, high impact product releases at Walmart. Colleen came across as an experienced UI/UX designer, who could empathize with the user persona and understand the underlying problem statements really well.
